BROWNVILLE JUNCTION - Thomas E. Belvin, 85, husband of Nancy (MacDonald) Belvin, passed away August 4, 2020, at his home. He was born May 1, 1935, in Lawley, AL, the son of John and Irene (Kelley) Belvin.

He had retired from the U.S. Navy in 1972. After his service in the Navy, he worked at Great Northern Paper Co. and retired again from the CP Railroad. He was an avid ham radio operator, and loved by all who knew him. He always said that he'd never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Brownville Jct.; three sons, Stanley of Bangor, John and his wife, Kristin, of Essex Junction, VT, and Donald and his wife, Coleen, of Brownville Jct.; a daughter, Karen of Orlando, FL; three grandchildren, Kalie, Brittany, and Hanna; and three great-grandchildren, Kaiya, Owen, and Madison.

A graveside service with military and Masonic honors will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020, in the family lot at Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville Jct., with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
